Registration is open for TGIAC 2026

The fifteenth edition of The Great Indian Aquascaping Contest is live. Create your account, build your entry over multiple sessions, and submit before 15 September 2026.

Registration for TGIAC 2026 is now open. After fourteen editions, India's longest-running aquascaping contest returns, and this year the entire journey, from your first draft to the final submission, happens on one platform built for the way aquascapers actually work.

You do not have to finish your entry in one sitting. Create your account, start an entry, and come back as often as you like. Every field saves automatically, so you can refine your hardscape notes one evening and upload your competition photograph the next.

The dates that matter

  • Registration opens: 1 June 2026
  • Submissions close: 15 September 2026, 11:59 pm IST
  • Winners revealed: live at the Nature Aquarium Festival, early 2027

Submissions close at the end of 15 September. Once you submit an entry it is locked and cannot be edited, so review everything on the final step before you confirm.

Two categories, one entry each

You can enter both categories, with one entry in each. Nature Aquarium celebrates lush, naturalistic landscapes with organic hardscape and rich planting. Iwagumi is the discipline of stone: minimal, balanced rock arrangements where restraint is everything.

To know Mother Nature is to love her smallest creation.

How to enter

Create your account with your email, complete a short profile, and you are ready to build. The submission flow walks you through your aquarium details, technical setup, plants and fauna, your photographs, and the story behind your scape. We will keep you posted by email and WhatsApp at every step, from a saved draft to a confirmed submission.

Entries are judged on the published criteria by our panel after a screening round. Shortlisted scapes are showcased, and the champions are revealed live at the Nature Aquarium Festival.
